Here’s the second technique we went through in BJJ Class 141.  Sorry, I haven’t decided what to name the new snowboard instructor just yet…

Noob and Boarder both standing.  Boarder has a deep grip on Noob’s lapel.

Boarder jumps up to pull guard.  Right leg first…

…then the left leg just a split second behind, that’s one leg [...]

Here’s the technique we went over in BJJ Class 93. I’ve been doing this sweep for a while now, but have missed a few key details…

Nogi starts with Boarder in his closed guard.

Back from vacation. It was nice!! Five days enjoying the small towns of Rhode Island. There was sailing (haven’t sailed in 10 years or so), laying in the beach, home-made ice cream, a hike, local beers, and lots of seafood!!
