Last night I dreamt I was rolling with some friends on the mat – I woke up smiling!! I’m definitely going to make my dream come true, I’m training later today!!

Looking back through my training log (this blog), I haven’t trained this month yet – - Dang, that’s three weeks out, cause of the flu!!!! Stephan Kesting wrote a timely article on going back to BJJ after a training layoff. Be sure to check it out.  Get better Stephan!!

While my current three week layoff is nothing compared to what Stephan is going through, I did go through that when I had my shoulder injury. I did feel like a wimp going light and slow for several months, but it was the best way to avoid re-injury and get back to regular training.

Anyway, I’m off to get my stuff ready for training…

Finally, going back to train…stupid flu

I can’t wait to get better – twice I went out after waking up feeling better only to come back in from the cold feeling feverish again. The flu sucks.
