how to tie the belt
While browsing through Youtube, I found this video…Just thought I’d share:
…And just about every BJJ video on tying the belt that I saw after had the same method (finding the center of the belt).
That method is not how I tie my belt though – I don’t like it because it doesn’t look as neat as it usually results in a little mess on the back – - the belt is neat all throughout, but then looks uneven on the back near the spine.
Anyhow, since my TKD days, this is how I tie my belt:

That’s funny — I learned the *top* way in TKD, while everyone at BJJ does the bottom way. And mine is always much neater (and stays tied longer!) than theirs

yeah, I want my belt to look neat.
My whitebelt used to stay on for so long and almost never went out by itself – my blue belt goes off a lot quicker. Must be the belt…
